Awards go out to the top performing Computer Science students

On Monday June 25th, 2018, iSignthis awarded the top five students of the University of Cyprus Computer Science Department with a total prize of €7.500.

In a special award ceremony organised by the School of Pure and Applied Sciences of University of Cyprus, our company honored the students’ outstanding academic performance and in particular excellence in the courses of Artificial Intelligence, Image Processing, Systems Security and Logic Programming.

The students have already been awarded their prizes of €1.500 each after the completion of their degree and have received their honorary plaques during the special ceremony by the company’s representative, Mr. Or Kapelinsky, COO.

These prizes reflect our company’s commitment to invest and contribute to the development of the young workforce especially in the technology sectors and, with the establishment of annual prizes for excellence, we seek to encourage the new generation of Software Engineers and Scientists to continue to pursue their vocation, both academically and professionally.

As part of the establishment of an ongoing partnership with University of Cyprus, iSignthis will offer graduate employment to more than five graduates as part of the company’s Graduate Program at our operations office in Nicosia, Cyprus, with industry-leading salary, training, health insurance plan and other benefits. Through this program, successful graduates will benefit from exposure to security, operations and development as well as get hands-on experience working alongside top-tier experts in the payments, e-banking and e-identity ecosystem developed by iSignthis.
